Ecotec was founded in 2010 with a simply yet meaninful purpose: to help institutions manage their food waste easily and sustainably. That same year, we partnered with a Swedish company that manufactures food waste composting machines and introduced the idea of on-site composting to Turkey for the very first time. Moreover, Ecotec became the first company in Turkey to install and operate a food waste composting machine!

Over the years, we've installed composting systems for many respected institutions and taken on their operation and maintenance. Each project taught us something new and helped us grow. And now, it's time to bring all that experience to life under our own brand - Ruddy. With Ruddy, we've offering better-designed, more advanced, and user-friendly composting solutions - all built upon the knowledge and experience we've gained so far.

Nature contains a balance and perfection in every moment. Our search for a vibrant symbol that symbolizes this naturalness and perfection led us to the creation of our brand and logo. For us, the “ruddy” brand and its logo, “ruddy duck”, represent this perfect cycle of nature. On the other hand, ruddy literally means alive, healty, enthusiastic and full of life.  

Our logo, “ruddy duck”, symbolizes both our commitment to nature and our technology that respects the environment. This cute duck, which always keeps its tail upright, moves in hormony with nature at every step. Just like the machines we produce compost food waste on-site in full harmony with nature, without taking any additives and heat from outside.  

The main colors of our logo, red, blue and black, were also inspired by our duck’s feathers. At the same time, we worked on different colors. Because living things had to change in order to adapt to changing living conditions. The “ruddy” brand and the products we will produce under it will contribute to the ideal of a healtier and safe world by making a sustainable contribution to the life cycle.
